Solar Warehouse is proud to have supplied and provided consultancy support for the solar mounting solution used in the rooftop solar installation at Samsung Electronics Vietnam’s SEV factory in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, in collaboration with CME and Samsung.
With an installed capacity of 2.38 MWp, the rooftop solar project is expected to generate approximately 2.59 million kWh of clean electricity annually, contributing to Samsung’s sustainability goals and the transition towards lower-carbon manufacturing.
Engineered for Membrane Roofs and Wind-Load Performance
For large-scale industrial and semiconductor facilities, rooftop solar installations require more than energy generation. They demand careful consideration of roof integrity, structural loading, wind resistance and long-term operational reliability.
The project utilises an Aerocompact solar mounting solution designed for membrane-roof applications, with wind-load engineering to support the structural requirements of the installation. The mounting system’s FM Global approval is particularly relevant to facilities where property protection, risk management and business continuity are important considerations.
By combining appropriate mounting technology with engineering-led consultancy, Solar Warehouse supports solar deployments that address the specific requirements of demanding industrial environments.
